How to Set Up Wavlink AC1200 via ap.setup
Follow these steps to complete the setup on any device.
- Plug your Wavlink AC1200 extender into a wall outlet near your main router. Wait for the LED to turn solid green (about 90 seconds).
- On your phone or laptop, open WiFi Settings and connect to the network ending in _Ext (e.g. Wavlink_Extender_Ext or Wavlink_AC1200_Ext).
- Open Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Click the address bar at the top of the browser window.
- Type
ap.setupand press Enter. If the page doesn't load, use192.168.10.1instead. - Log in with username: admin and password: admin.
- The AP Setup Wizard will launch. Select your home WiFi network from the list.
- Enter your home WiFi password and click Connect or Apply.

- Move the extender halfway between your router and the dead zone area.
